Cold Laser Therapy

Doctor using cold laser therapy on patientIncredible Results You Can Feel

We are proud to offer incredible, effective cold laser therapy in our New Port Richey and Largo offices. While this modality has been around for decades, it is finally recognized for its brilliant, gentle and noninvasive results for healing soft tissue injuries.

As a results-driven practice, we are proud to use the MR4 Super Pulsed Laser, a top-notch laser known in the industry for its effective results. For those looking for relief from a specific injury such as knee pain or shoulder pain, cold laser might be a perfect option.

MR4 Super Pulsed Laser is the most effective therapy for soft-tissue injuries. One treatment is nearly as effective as 15 ultrasound treatments.

After extensive review and evaluation, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently cleared Multi Radiance Medical’s MR4 Laser technology for neck and shoulder pain relief under the Product Classification NHN, making Multi Radiance one of the few laser manufacturers in the world that have secured the NHN product class FDA 510(k) clearance. Meaning: Their lasers are designed not to generate heat and they do not produce any heat. The MR4 Super Pulsed Laser provides true photobiomodulation healing with light.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can cold laser help with?

This modality can be ideal for patients of all walks of life and injury levels. Its benefits go beyond back pain and offer solutions to acute and chronic conditions, including wrist pain, elbow problems, shoulder issues, knee and feet troubles, sciatica and beyond.

Can it help improve function?

Absolutely. Cold laser therapy is great for patients who have an injury they’d like to improve, and even for people who aren’t necessarily ‘injured’ but want to improve their daily life; for example, with laser therapy, movement is more effortless during your golf game or while picking up your children or grandkids. Patients who may not be a candidate for surgery also fair wonderfully in our care.

Is the therapy painful?

No! That’s one of the reasons patients love it so much. The process is entirely pain-free, not to mention very focused and effective in getting you out of pain quickly.

Is cold laser offered in both locations?

Yes! You can experience this treatment modality at either of our convenient locations.

How Cold Laser Works

The therapy works to reduce pain and inflammation, regenerating tissue on a molecular level while breaking up scar tissue. Light, at different frequencies, acts differently with the cells of our body.
This increased blood flow helps nourish your injury for more thorough and proper healing. While each person and injury are different, we will put together a care plan for your best recovery.

We have had patients who are scheduled for surgery visit us for care. After four to six weeks of receiving this powerful therapy, they were able to avoid surgery!
